FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Stay Tuned! After registering your child, he or she will be placed on a team by our staff.
Approximately two weeks before the season begins, your volunteer coach will reach out with information about practices and games.
Uniforms are distributed to the head coach and handed out at the first team practice.
Gunston staff creates teams once registration closes. Two weeks before the first game, you can expect to hear from your assigned coach.
Your volunteer coach will then announce the team logistics for training and what to expect for the season.
If you register late, you may not get placed until closer to your team's first game. We may not be able to accommodate your team placement request.
Your head coach will distribute uniforms at the first practice.
Recreation games are played at Grist Mill Park, Mount Vernon High School, and Bryant High School.
Absolutely! While not guaranteed in every instance, Gunston makes every effort to group kids together when requested. Please make note of this request in your registration via TeamSnap.
The refund deadline for the Fall season is July 31, 2024.

After expressing your interest in coaching, our team will contact you to gather the necessary information and initiate a background check. You will also need to complete Safesport training.
Last but not least, we will provide equipment while also hosting a pre-season coaches clinic for anyone interested in learning more!
